I have been looking forward to this trip.The sky is full of sunshine and the old bike is ready for another trip.I know a great BikeStop about an hour south of here, where the pies have been voted the third best in the country, and the coffee is even better.Another hour south through beautiful countryside and I should be at one of the best small country hotels in the state,where I know bike riders are welcomed and the food and company are excellent.And then I might follow the coast for another hour, along that newly surfaced road, with the great corners and great views,and sit on the deck of that hotel that sits high above the ocean.Maybe I will meet you along the way.Or perhaps we will meet at one of your favourite BikeStops……….
NOTE: I have now received HUNDREDS of suggestions for bikestops from readers from all over the country, and some from NZ (and even from the US), and I am gradually getting them ready to upload onto this site. Please be patient. If you are interested in writing some BikeStop stories, I am happy to designate some pages to you for your own particular BikeStop recommendations.
